Course	Subject Required	Number of Credits
English	All students must take English 9, English 10, English 11 (Applied or College Prep), and English 12 (Applied or College Prep).	4
Math	Algebra I or Algebra I(9),  Geometry or Geometry 10, Algebra II or Algebra II(11), and Algebra II (12), also one additional math or math related credit taken during the senior year. Some Tech Center courses qualify for the 4th year math	4
Science	Biology, Chemistry & one additional Science credit.	3
Social Studies	1 credit in Civics/Economics, 1 credit U.S. History & Geography, 1 credit World History & Geography.	3
Physical Education	All students must pass one year of P.E./Health. There are no exemptions to this requirement.	1
Visual, Performing, Applied Arts	The following courses can be used to fullfill this requirement: Performance English, Art 1, Advanced Art, Drawing & Painting, Sculpture & Ceramics, Crafts, Photography, Symphony Band, Concert Choir, Jazz Band, & Industrial Education.  Many courses at the Tech Center will qualify for this credit as well.	1
Online Learning Experience	ACT online prep	0.5
Foreign Language	Beginning with the Class of 2016, students are required to complete 2 credits of Foreign Language.	2
Senior Seminar	Beginning with the Class of 2013, students are required to complete senior seminar during their senior year.	1
Electives	All students can select electives from a variety of areas to complete their high school education.	6.5
