Current teaching assignment:

I teach the state required Health class at the High School.  I also teach 5th and 6th grade Physical Education and Health at the middle school.  Another one of my daily responsibilities is assisting Don Markel as our district's Athletic Director.

Education:

I graduated from Cass City High school and received my Bachelor's in teaching degree from Central Michigan University with a major in Physical Education and minor in Health Education.  I also received my Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University.

Philosophy:

I love children and being able to have an impact on their lives.  My daily goal is to try to get my students to smile and look at the brighter side of things in life.  I always try to encourage my students to get involved in something and try their best at it!

Interests:

I love the outdoors and all of the activities involved with being outside.  I have a husband and two beautiful daughters who keep us very busy.  I enjoy spending with my family and being involved in athletics.
